It strikes me only now: how the Hell Junior, the (un?)dead, can be bound to this Nergal symbiont, the living thing? ‘Cause it’s magic and we won’t be explaining shit?

I just watched the ‘Whatcha Drawin’ video. Actually first time I watched it, but I’m impressed. It makes me want to learn how to make digital art as well.

This page especially shows how Junior can’t handle the nergal powers. What’s worse, the thing seems to have gotten a mind of its own by now, which gives me a weird deja-vu feeling to that one page in which Junior was swallowed by that pumpkin monster. I think that Junior could be taken advantage of easily enough by the Nergal if it wanted to.

The “Nergaling” has always been a separate entity with a mind of his own, even when he was a part of Minnie. The Pumpkinator Nergal occurred when the Nergaling took advantage of Jr.’s weak will at the time Minnie was taken to usurp control and go on a rampage. However, according to the Nergaling, Minnie’s dominance over him was why he desired such power, and that with Jr., his relationship is more symbiotic in a way, or at least he likes him more.

Put simply, as far as Bleed seems to at least depict, the Nergaling has no ulterior motives to speak of.

It was bound to happen eventually.

Well, for the first time transforming it was a decent attempt. I didn’t expect for it to go smoothly anyway, it definitely wasn’t his final form, hehe. With time he will work it down to something resembling his Afterbirth design, I hope. If Chi runs into some trouble at the border, maybe it will give Junior a chance to recuperate.

Owls, that transformation didn’t last long did it?

Hm, I’m guessing by ‘stronger’, they mean unlocking a better shapeshifting ability by having an armor-like coating via the Nergal. Maybe that makes him a little physically stronger.
How about unlocking the ability the Nergal has to electrify people? That could come in handy. That would be an interesting ability to manifest, grow stronger, and use in combat. That’s something new since it’s never been seen in the comic before in a useful/coolly drawn way. Nope. This always bothered me, obviously.

oh yeah and judging from the title, I guess chi is going to destroy the border or cause some damage to it making it easier to be attacked by mandy’s forces.

I literally just got an account to ask a stupid question since when dose Jr. where skinny jeans? For some reason that was what finally motivated me oh well now i’m here no turning back now. ;D

Bleedman’s most recent change to his art style (can’t remember when off-hand) slimmed down Jr.’s clothing to be more representative of being worn by a walking skeleton. If you think about it, his earlier designs were too thick to make sense, realistically. That being said, I did feel they looked better, personally.

Time for Mimi to play the relationship game! Who will it be Chi who is Aku’s daughter or Grim Jr. son of the Queen Bitch and Death himself!

      05/05/2016 at 6:10am

I’d rather Mimi be awesome by herself.

    05/05/2016 at 2:21am

Or kinda like Ichigo from Bleach’s Visord mask form, which at first, he could only go for a few seconds before the mask disappeared.

Yeah but I imagine he’ll adapt to it over time, like Naruto’s rasenshuriken.

Let’s see how Chi’s gonna deal with this one.

    05/05/2016 at 1:03am

Well, this is mildly interesting, mildly.

so there’s a border/barrier huh. is this unique only to aku’s city or is this like for every major zone in hell?

anyways from the look of things, a 3-way battle is pretty likely to occur outside of grim’s castle since chi will likely arrive just as junior and minnie are fighting. shame, I was hoping the fight would be inside where the combatants would have to be careful of traps while fighting.

I’d imagine nearly every zone, though keep in mind Demongo made it to HIM’s realm by being shot out of a canon from Aku City. Maybe this barrier is because she’s trying to get to Caste Grimskull? I imagine Mandy would be one to put up several layers of protection, not just in or near the caste but at the border of what land Grim can say belongs to Death.
