This is a slightly off-topic but SNAFU Adjacent post in which I’m excited to share that my new video game kuso is now available on Steam and Twitch!
kuso is the sequel to my first game LOVE, and maintains the same focus on creating a fair challenge for players to complete. You have the ability to run, jump, and leave your own checkpoint. Make your way through acid, long jumps, disappearing platforms, bouncers, giant saws, and much more in this dreadful mechanical world. If you’re looking for a game that’ll challenge your platforming skills, give you something excellent to listen to, and a game to master, kuso is the game for you.
You are fiveEight. You have woken up to find the world has been replaced by terrible machinery powered by horrible means. You don’t remember anything, but you find you have the ability to cheat death by leaving a shadow of yourself behind. Find your way through 25 dangerous landscapes to find freedom and the light at the end.
kuso is now available on Steam for $4.99 (or the local equivalent), and I hope you’ll consider picking it up. I’ve been working very hard on it for the last year, and it’s something I’m very proud of. If you’re looking for more technical details, you can always check out the kuso Press Kit.
Lastly, here’s a few animated screenshots from the game, to give you a feel for its aesthetic.
