Those patches can eventually wear off occasionally! And I wonder if red hair, the color possibly representing a fiery rebellious spirit, is a potential for breaking free of the patch. Remember that girl, the cheerful waitress with the curly red hair and glasses? I wonder if she used to have a patch, but broke free of it, and it permanently depleted or damaged her spirit. She was cheery, but simple, and seemed content with being just a waitress at a diner in a city she may have known or now vaguely knows she is trapped in.
    *
I think she was a fiery video game star, too! I remember a few billboards with a red-headed, curly, sword-bearing warrior who looked just like her, without the demuring glasses.
    *
That patch *a lot of times, usually* seems to deplete or leave a mark on you if you break free, but I think that homeless guy with the hat and the intense face will break free completely and change into some sort of intense enemy for the City’s systems. He had too striking a visage to be just a strange homeless guy that got patched for no real reason.
    *
And that guy who fell into the train’s path looking listless, I think he broke free or it fell off from some biological defect in his body’s systems and it polluted and scarred him…so he couldn’t live in his city trap hell anymore.
    *
There are clearly normal people still left in the city, these kids playing paint ball are two of them and they think Gug is one too. And if everyone was patched, would that mean the Director or whoever is influencing him and wants the city to be strange crazed zomboids will have succeeded and won? … What’s this Tower for, that seems to be still being constructed, that’s literally off the map of the city, if you look at that page closely enough? The patch is one thing, there seems to be more to the story.
    *
And god bless him Gug, he’s an intense, hardcore gamer who dresses for the battle, and wants Aria by his side. 🙂 And looking tasty ^^ heh -^^-

    “Here”
    (Help me)?

Dude, we needs some exposition here. I can only look at eye candy and chuckle at gaming references for so long.

Unless the strip is supposed to be a series of random one-offs in a weird setting. In which case, mission accomplished. Carry on.
