R and K are terrible choices for characters with this ability. Plenty of shows out there that deal with realm hopping. R and K travel through space, not levels of heaven and hell.
And if they had this tech all along why didn’t they use it to, I dunno…. Save lives?

    • 07/09/2016 at 5:09pm

Exactly this. Ben 10 characters are the worst pick for this comic as, like you said, they travel space not levels of heaven and hell. Why talk about the moon in the Underworld for example?

There are so many better characters that could help move this side-plot along. I still don’t get why they had to drag out her adventure so long that she first has to go through the Ghost Zone and also has trouble to get in. Cuz I bet we’ll get dragged down again in the Ghost Zone.

    • pelcogo

      07/13/2016 at 5:40am

Yeah if they were gonna use a ben 10 characters why not Gwen or Charm Caster or something? They at least have experience in the supernatural world that this comic is going for.

      • athdlg

        07/13/2016 at 9:36am

Depends on what story they’d be looking at honestly. Correct me if I’m wrong since I’m no expert on Ben 10, but I believe there was somewhere down the line that Gwen was revealed to not have ‘magic powers’ because as Grandpa Max said ‘magic doesn’t really exist’. Or something like that. Either way, putting any characters from the Ben 10 universe into this comic would be difficult.

        • Lichking

          07/13/2016 at 10:46am

Not really rember in the series Kevin has dimension hopped and it would stand to reason that the plumbers are in this universe to since these comics are cross overs (and at some point they will meet up)rember the void zone (or null void cant rember if it was this or that) is just anthor dimension witch houses intergalactic criminals and if i rember correctly settlers. so it wouldnt be un heard of (atleast in the comics) that kevin and his friend have heard of or been there themselves do to cross over powers hell ben and gween are probley one of the many fall heroes along with others that fell when Him attacked megaville.

Long story short the way this series is setup its not surprising that kevin and rook would appear

          • athdlg

            07/16/2016 at 5:53am

I was just talking about the idea of ‘magic’ not being considered a plausible idea for even Gwen and Charm Caster to be in the series because ‘magic’ technically doesn’t exist in the Ben 10 Universe. I personally don’t care about Kevin or Rook’s appearance because I don’t have enough knowledge to know if it’s possible for them to be there.

    • 07/15/2016 at 7:37pm

Hello Grids. I know you and Bleedman aren’t on good terms, but I’ve been bugging other users, to see if they knew how to get, in contact with him. I hate to ask you this, but I was told you’d know, if no one else did . So, I will ask, only once to calm, your nerves. Do you know how to get in contact, with Bleedman? I just need to talk to him, about a small, little detail. I will wait, for your reply

    • 07/15/2016 at 8:22pm

I can agree, with your hate for how this series is going. I thought the page, was a good trip down memory lane, but it has noting to do with the end all story. I know you don’t care, for the direction this story, is going… But I only care to Chi meet Junior, and go the obvious direction, their relationship goes. I just need to talk to Bleedman, for three little things. I hope you get your desires fulfilled, good fellow

You know it’s like some of you guys forget that this comic happens in the future so maybe R and K became realm hoppers during that time, you know

  • 07/09/2016 at 6:11am

My views, more or less; are that I noticed that we’re still in a bar in the middle of nowhere where Chi is talking about nonsense with Demongo and some random “hey these cartoons existed once” faggots who keep walking up to her and derailing the comic. I had almost forgotten what we’re even doing. This all started because Mimi tried to break into castle Grimskull to get that hand artifact from the Billy and Mandy movie, to be cut off and “kidnapped” so -Chi and Demongo’s bizarre adventure- began and has been drawing out at a grand scale. Considering we’ve literally NOT EVEN MOVED FROM THIS FUCKING CHAIR YET, there is no reason that “all” of this conversation couldn’t have happened at the same time as others, or perhaps somewhere else; on the move maybe? Maybe “closer” to the original plot point presented years ago? Can we please for the love of holy mother fuck move on?

    • Grids

      07/09/2016 at 6:48am

I considered Mimi’s quest to the castle to be my best work for the comic.
It’s horrible to see how polluted it has become since then. Like watching your favourite pet slow down and become a sad shell of its old self, but your parents never had the desire to end its misery.

      • silvercover

        07/09/2016 at 12:10pm

I think a more apt comparison is having your parents just barely remember to take care of it, giving it only the bare necessity and not bothering to clean up.

a story always has the potential to get as good as before but only if the writer puts the effort. as it is, bleed is just dragging things out and likely not putting in much thought of what he’s putting up in the pages.

Close, but no cookie. It’s like watching your son becoming a fat NEET basement-dweller. How something that was lively & beautiful with bright future ahead not just slowly dying but becoming ugly while still dragging it’s own sad existence.

      • Aros001

        07/09/2016 at 2:31pm

It was very good and I think part of the reason for why is because it was all the main characters interacting with each other. Junior and Minnie interacting with Mimi. Mandy interacting with Grim and interacting with Mimi. Junior interacting with Mandy. Nearly everyone important to the story was working off each other.
Whereas here…I don’t hate Chi as much as a lot of people do. I think that her relationship with Mimi and however Aku created her has some good potential. But the problem is that the majority of the time it is just her interacting with side characters who have little to do with what’s been going on. Her interacting with HIM or her eavesdropping on Aku (Ikra) and HIM’s conversation, that’s fine because it involves the main characters. But her just talking with Demongo, talking to herself, or even just talking to Kevin and Rook, while it might be inching the plot forward it feels like padding. Instead of two or three important characters interacting we just get one. Even if Chi were the most likable character in the story the problem would remain because there’s only so much you can get out of just her. Even in small scenes like Junior and Minnie saying goodbye to their parents as they left on the train were pretty good because we got to see and interpret the family’s interactions with each other. Here we just have Chi. We’ve gotten to know her personality pretty well. Now we want to see that personality clash or click with the other main characters.

Chi’s appearances are always drawn out.
I see what’s going on now, I’m only assuming though, Chi will show that she can take care of herself in some pages by being a badass or something while Rook and K’s role is to get them through the Ghost Zone–the last one was obviously pointed out.
Nice cameo of Demon Child. Continue with that comic instead, please.

    • silvercover

      07/09/2016 at 12:00pm

I think its less about chi and more just that bleed really likes to draw out scenes instead of getting to the main point. same as in SB with the whole getting to ginger’s memories.

I was hoping before that we’d just have chi get straight inside grim’s castle and start messing things up, but now im pretty sure that we’re in for a LOT of sight seeing and traveling around the different realms.

the question is whether bleed can pull up something important or interesting along the way, such as the ghost realm current state, if walker has his own kid too, seeing preparations of war, etc.

      • athdlg

        07/09/2016 at 2:41pm

He likes to draw more than write the story, it seems. Which is fine on it’s own, but it can be frustrating since we’re the one’s watching the oh-so-slow process.

Oddly the green tip on the bun seems to be missing from it now that K is eating it (missing as in it isn’t green anymore, not as in he already ate it).

Guess it wasn’t mold, I doubt K would chow down on rotten food (guess they’re like the jet black dumplings I get at one of the places I got to; it’s just coloring)

    07/09/2016 at 5:13pm

Why are Kwvin and Rook here?
Why is Kevin a mutant freak again?
Why are they even still around after this whole apocalyptic thing? And shouldn’t they have helped save all those lives when “Him” was attacking if their the “best in the universe?”
Why couldn’t we get a better cameo that makes more sense for the ghost world business?
And why has this dragged on so long?

Questions that will never be answered, probably.

    • Kirdex90

      07/10/2016 at 6:55pm

This is all happening in part of the underworld. In the apocalyptic event many, if not all, hero’s were killed which is why Kevin and Rook are in the underworld. In that mutant freak from Kevin has the powers of numerous aliens so he may have been using that from at the time of his death and is now stuck like that, also the multimeter stuff in Ben 10 is another possible reason for him being like this.

    07/09/2016 at 9:51pm

Hmm, so if Chi has to go through all this trouble to get to Castle Grim, does it mean Mimi had to do it too? We were never shown how she got there. I wonder if she needed anyone’s help or if she had her own ways to reach it. It’s kind of strange there’s no way to bypass the Ghost Zone. I was under impression all these realms were like islands in the Underworld, not lined up side by side. In that case travel is very inconvenient for anybody.

    • 07/10/2016 at 2:08am

I think that before NEK got on it there wasn’t that whole thing of the realms being next to each other and having barriers between them. But I guess they now can explain it by saying that the Land of Tainted Souls is on the other side of Castle of Grim (of which its name still makes no sense for a complete realm)

      • Grids

        07/10/2016 at 2:51am

It’s hasty and poorly constructed storytelling to justify this quagmire of a plot. Go back to the first chapter Chi appears in. The realms are all separate from each other. Now this barrier crap is in play.

If Him’s realm is on the other side then Him and Mimi would have had much more trouble getting to Aku’s place. NEK and Bleed take no effort in making their work make sense. Something must change. Someone else needs to cleanse this story and save it.

      • menamai

        07/10/2016 at 7:15am

Him’s realm can’t be on the other side. Aku and Him’s realms are next to each other. Remember? They shot Demo into Him’s realm with a cannon. Following this logic Mimi must have had the same amount of trouble getting to Castle Grim as Chi. But I don’t think it’s really relevant to the story how she got there, unless she met someone important on the way that could be a plot point.

    • athdlg

      07/10/2016 at 6:04am

Mimi probably got in because of HIM or something; transporting her to the nearest area before her ‘mission’ began, it was all a trap for her anyway regardless of her success. Maybe she used a device of her own.

      • silvercover

        07/10/2016 at 10:44am

mimi had transported junior and jeff away from HIM back at the start of GT, so yeah I imagine something similar happened where there’s some marker near grim’s castle that HIM set up and mimi got through there.

contrary to popular opinions, what bleed usually adds to the comics actually make “sense”(such as ginger’s inner candy land)…

the issue is really just that it ends up adding more time before we get to the serious and important parts of the story that people want to see/know already, like for me I want to see chi confront junior and/or minnie, even if the ghost zone might have some interesting points.

          • red bear

            07/11/2016 at 12:00pm

@Silvercover, so, the whole comix is a one big Brick Joke? ^_^

          • silvercover

            07/11/2016 at 2:25pm

hmm I guess thats one way of putting it. though its more like we keep on watching the brick going and going and going… until it lands somewhere for the joke to happen.

like for example, we know what objectives chi and lico have in mind and bleed is having them go through it… and taking his sweet time. its a bit more acceptable in SB’s case since they are in the mind and thus flow of time may be awry leading to it taking longer. for GT though, we were currently in the midst of the climax for junior and minnie’s confrontation for mimi’s wellbeing… yet chi is nowhere near them.

really the issue is pacing, which im a bit used to already from a lot of manga, so im less bothered most of the time compared to the people here(along with having other things to read) with what bleed’s doing.

to bring up another point, there was the time when chi was still being introduced and to show what type of character she was, bleed put up several pages… too many pages to be exact. it wasnt exactly wrong, dedicating a few pages to show how chi was a weabou, pampered princess, loved mimi and how she was still learning her powers was ok… but then he gave several more pages to highlight all of her weabou interests, her obsession to mimi, etc. that got people annoyed at her, even when her character isnt really bad.

  • silvercover

    07/09/2016 at 11:49pm

what im more worried about with all of this, is that by the time chi does reach grim’s castle, all the action and drama should be finished already. minnie beating junior or vice versa in their battle, mimi either safe and sound or getting smacked around possibly killed.

I wanted at least a battle between the 3, chi fighting either of them, or chi being there to protect mimi on time.

    I have a question.
Why wont they take grids back?
It would be easier for all parties, the story will be at least half good again, and there wont a struggle to move forward and stay a little organized.

    • athdlg

      07/12/2016 at 3:33pm

Bleedman has a friendly relationship with NEK, or at least believes he’s a nice guy. Since Bleed doesn’t care about the fans comments and critiques, he wouldn’t care about Grids possibly being able to make the comic at least half as good, progressing properly, or staying organized. As far as I remember Bleed also discontinued from doing commissions for Grids or for Grids characters, which could entail his feelings about working with Grids again, but that’s probably a needless point because maybe he just got tired of drawing them. Bleed likes to draw. NEK probably makes it easier for him to draw whatever he likes in a comic and support ideas that he suggests.
In a short form, Bleed got a new editor while Grids was away and doesn’t care to bring Grids back because Bleed likes NEK and whether it would benefit the overall story and progress of the comics or not does not concern Bleed.

      • nomfish

        07/13/2016 at 12:20am

Then maybe Bleed shouldn’t have taken on so many comics. He can just draw whatever rather than continue the comic.
“Put a sick dog out of its misery” so to speak.

        • 07/13/2016 at 9:05am

Wowsers, that’s almost painfully direct. I can’t really bring myself to put any of the comics out of their misery per se, but when you’re on top like Bleedman, surely handling everything yourself or just going through like one person has to be tiring after a while. Why not just delegate to a handful of people? Then again at this point it’s 2 writers to 1 artist, and I feel like Bleedman might be comfortable with this ratio, so unless Nek comes down with swine flu or something, I think this is probably gonna stay the same.

        • athdlg

          07/13/2016 at 9:29am

Bleedman isn’t complaining to be taking on so many comics, only the fans are–so it’s their problem really, not his. The comics are included in the category of ‘draw whatever’. The supposed sick dog that the audience sees the comic as is pretty much running wild with their happy master in a field of ‘I don’t give a fuck’.
Personally, I’d want him to stick with PPGD (fans like it), GT (it’s my guilty pleasure), and DUE (I really like it). Can’t get what ya’ want. Unless you’re Bleedman.

          • nomfish

            07/13/2016 at 11:26am

            @BirdOfTerror
Yeah painfully direct indeed. I suppose i’m just irritated. Being invested in a story for so long for it to because shit in the hands of a man who doesn’t care, with that logic, why continue the comic, and why continue reading? I get people don’t mind it being shit, but wouldn’t that offend you a little to know the the creator of something cares none for its audience? Its that kind of thing that leads society in shambles. Having a friend who you thought cared about you, but now they wont even look at you. Of course that’s just a representation… I don’t see him as my friend of course, but i’m just replicating the feeling.
All n all, when i really think about it. I get it, this is what he wants to do.
Not gonna be happy about it. But that’s cool i guess.
Time will tell, i can just come back in 10 years and maybe something good can happen. (that is, if i remeber 10 years from now on account of having a pretty poor memory.
            @ATHDLG
Technically i could get what i want if i knew someone who as a good artist and hired Grids. This is a fan comic after all. lol
But i guess after years you do develop the “Fuck it” Mentality. Is it a good one? I guess that depends on how you see it.
I’m certain Bleed is past his 40’s so hes probably already had the “Fuck it” mentality that grows with age.
PPGD is the only one i still like cause the plot goes so where. I feel like i get more answers with each page, and each page is worth waiting for.

            07/13/2016 at 4:19pm

I appreciate the vouch, Nom. I will make it clear right now – I’m not the easiest guy to work with. Toward the end of my previous tenure if there was a planned action or plot happening that Bleed was attempting that I didn’t agree with I would be very quick to shoot it down for the sake of the comic.
It’s been mentioned before, but Chi had already been vetoed once before by myself and BeeAre.
I was also critical of Mimi’s Facebook page and the fact that he chose to make her flashback arc very soon after finishing WHAM because that was his chance to work on and even conclude other projects before resuscitating GT.
Bleed likes the ‘path of least resistance’ and sure, he likes NEK cos NEK doesn’t actually ‘edit’ – he’s a paper helper who nods and approves of everything and allows Bleed to do whatever he wants.
This sort of convoluted and nonsensical drivel we have in the comic now is a result.
If I got back into GT I would ask for a similar level of creative control as BeeAre has with PPGD – can you all imagine the ‘quality’ of PPGD if NEK and his approach to ‘editing’ occurred there too?
Being difficult and enforcing one’s opinion is necessary as an editor or else you are not doing your job properly. The result is a better product more on par with the readers’ expectations.
You’re right of course – Bleed is getting older. His patreon is his financial source. He doesn’t HAVE to make these comics, but he does. But his attitude has changed. And I think “insulted” is a firm and fair word to describe how long-term readers ought to feel about his current approach.
As the former head for this comic, the insult is tenfold. I barely recognise what I once created.
If I got the chance to remedy all these myriad blunders, you can bet your ass this would be a comic worth reading again.
And if I don’t then maybe I will post my alternative plans here and you can tell me which plot you’d rather be reading.

I like where this has been going, but I would like to talk to Bleedman about something. I like this page, but when he’s done with this chapter, I have a business proposal for him. I apologize, if I have disturbed this website and it’s system.
