Geo, in the case of Montblanc, that's not true. FFTA2 proves that that world of Ivalice was indeed true, it just happens to be a world contained within a book. When FFTA2 starts, the main character, Luso is sent to the library to help Mr. Randell (Mewt as an adult) to clean up before he leaves for summer vacation. Mr. Randell isn't there when he arrives, so he begins looking at a book lying on the table. When the book asks him who will complete the story, he writes his name in the book and is sucked into Ivalice, where Montblac is waiting for Marche to return.

Oh hey, I just thought of a different way to get there, but, I'll need Pip to be with me, or just have something weird happen like a goofed summon of the Mothership.

History:

Final Fantasy 2

Firion was born in Salamand and was taken in by his adopted family after the death of his parents. After his home is burned down and his adoptive parents murdered by the Palamecian Army, he is critically wounded by several black knights while fleeing Fynn. Upon awakening, he finds himself in the remote rebel stronghold of Altair, where he reunites with his close friends Maria and Guy. Upon realizing that Leon has been separated from them, he, Maria, and Guy ask Princess Hilda if they could join the rebel army, since they have nothing left to return to. Instead, Hilda refuses to let them in because of their young age, but allows them refuge from the empire so they can wait for Maria's brother, Leon, to find them if he survived. Instead of waiting, Firion, Maria, and Guy go to Fynn to find Leon themselves. There, they find Scott, Hilda's groom to be, mortally wounded in the secret room of Fynn's tavern. He gives a ring to Firion to give to Hilda. Scott tells Firion to tell Hilda of his love for her and his regret that he will not see her again, then rethinks the request. Impressed by their accomplished infiltration of Fynn, Hilda lets Firion and his friends join the Wild Rose Rebellion against the empire.

Hilda then gives the party their first mission, to locate mythril, a powerful metal needed to create weapons. The White Mage, Minwu, accompanies the party to Salamand. The town of Salamand is currently under the control of the Empire, and the men of town are forced to mine Mythril. A town native named Josef informs them of the plight of the townspeople, but is unwilling to help, as his daughter Nelly is also a captive. The party heads to the mines, where they rescue the prisoners, along with Nelly. They return to Altair soon after with Mythril.

Firion then leads a team to the town of Bafsk to stop the large airship called the Dreadnought from being completed. The party is too late and the Dreadnought is finished and attacks several towns. His party then retrieves the Goddess Bell needed to open the gates of Kashuan Keep, where Sunfire needed to stop the Dreadnought is located. Josef helps them get the bell by giving them his snowcraft. After fighting Borghen, Josef sacrifices himself to rescue the party from a large boulder. After collecting the Sunfire, the party, along with Prince Gordon, witness Cid's Airship being captured, where Hilda and Cid travelled to Kashuan. They rescue her from the Dreadnought and then destroy the engine, but not before Maria recognizes that the Dark Knight of the empire is Leon.

Soon after the King of Fynn orders from his death bed that Firion's group contacts the Dragoons of Deist. Firion heads to Poft in search of a ship, along with Maria and Guy, and recruits a pirate named Leila, who offers to aid the party by bringing them to Deist so that she and her crew could rob them. Once at sea, her crew attacks the party and loses. Leila gives herself up and Firion allows her to join them.

At Deist, the party only find a mother and son in Deist, as everyone else has been wiped out, save for one Wyvern, thanks to the empire. The party places an egg of the last Wyvern in a pool in the depths of Deist Cavern. After returning to Altair, they discover that Hilda has been acting oddly and is eating mice. Firion enters her room alone, where she attempts to seduce him. The rest of the party then bursts into the room just as she reveals her true form as a Lamia Queen. After defeating the Lamia, Firion and his group head to the Palamecian Coliseum, where Hilda is being held captive. After rescuing Hilda, Firion, Maria, Leila, and Guy participate in an attack upon Fynn, where they infiltrate the castle and kill the Imperial commander, restoring the kingdom of Fynn.

Firion then travels to Mysidia to locate Minwu. After finding that he traveled to the Mysidian Tower, the resting place of the mighty Ultima Tome, Firion and his friends search for the Crystal Rod, a relic used as the key to the tower, which lies in the Mysidia Cave. However, in order to explore deep into the cavern, he needs a White and a Black Mask. After finding these artifacts on Fynn Castle and the distant Tropical Island, respectively, Firion heads to the Mysidia Cave and obtains the key to the Mysidian Tower. However, when approaching the island where the Tower is located, Firion, Maria and Guy are swallowed by Leviathan, but the party manages to escape from its bowels with the help of the last remaining Dragoon, Ricard Highwind. Finally, at the top of the Mysidian Tower, they then witness Minwu sacrificing himself to acquire the Ultima Tome for the party.

After retuning to Fynn, they discover that a Cyclone that has been summoned by the Emperor is destroying towns. Firion leads a team into the Cyclone with the help of the newborn Wyvern and defeats the Emperor. A celebration held for the Empire's defeat is halted by the announcement that the Dark Knight Leon has taken the throne after the Emperor's defeat. The party enters the castle using the recently deceased Cid's airship and confronts the power-hungry Leon.

In the middle of a confrontation with Leon, the Emperor returns from the dead, revealing his plan to destroy the world. Ricard holds him off while Firion, Leon, and the rest of the party escape. Upon arriving in Fynn, Hilda agrees to let Leon join the Rebel Army and tells Firion to keep an eye on him.

The last battle takes place in Pandaemonium at the end of the final dungeon, the Jade Passage. When the Emperor was killed the second time, Leon leaves the party because of what he did with the empire, but Firion tells him that when he is ready to come back, he will be happily welcomed back again.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

Firion was summoned along side other heroes to act as champions for the Goddess of Harmony, Cosmos. Initially,Firion is accompanies Cecil, Cloud, and Tidus. As the four search for their Crystals, Cloud questions why his companions fight. Firion does not respond, and attempts to think of a way to explain it to Cloud properly. Later, Firion shows Cloud the wild rose he carries with him, explaining his dream to see a world where they bloom freely, and vows to end the fighting to see that world come true. Wishing to understand the strength given to him by his dream, Cloud requests a battle with Firion. At the end of the match, Firion is defeated, but for Cloud, it is an empty victory, as he now realizes he has no dream at all. Firion, despite showing signs of fatigue, attempts to keep fighting, and Cloud compliments him on his resolve. Not long after, Cloud departs to travel on his own and find his own reason to fight.

After Cloud leaves, Firion, Cecil, and Tidus are ambushed by Sephiroth, who steals Firion's rose. Firion chases after him to retrieve it while Cecil and Tidus are left behind. The Warrior of Light finds them, and when told what happened, pursues Firion, finding him confronting Sephiroth in the Planet's Core. The Warrior battles Sephiroth himself and orders Firion to return to Cecil and Tidus. Sephiroth later presents Firion's rose to Cloud as a ruse to get Cloud to pursue and battle him.

Continuing their journey, Firion learns more about his companions' reasons for fighting: Tidus fights to settle his grudge with his father, while Cecil struggles with his complex relationship with his brother Golbez. When Golbez offers Cecil assistance, Firion warns Cecil that despite their bond Golbez is still aligned with Chaos, and his desire to help Cecil may be a trap. Despite Firion's words, Cecil still continues to ponder what Golbez has told him, and Tidus later convinces him to go see Golbez. Firion accepts Cecil's decision and questions Tidus's bond with Jecht, though Tidus claims his desire is to defeat him.

As the two continue on, Tidus asks Firion what his dream is, but Firion says he has not thought of such a thing and is focused on ending the war. At this time, a flashback is shown of Firion discovering his rose some time ago, having been placed there by Golbez for him to find. As the enemies before them grow more numerous, Firion and Tidus split up to rendezvous later. On the Lunar Subterrane, Firion meets Jecht, having been blocked from fighting Tidus by the Emperor. Firion accuses Jecht of running from Tidus, and the irritated Jecht attacks him to relieve his frustrations. Firion is victorious but Jecht urges him to keep fighting. Firion refuses, telling Jecht he is not Tidus's substitute, and Jecht leaves to confront the Emperor with his meddling. Tidus finds Firion not long after and tells Firion the Emperor spoke to him about his desire to fight Jecht, but as with Golbez, Firion tells Tidus not to trust him.

The two come across Jecht confronting the Emperor, the two locked in battle. The Emperor vanishes while Jecht limps off, wounded. Tidus tells Firion he is going to pursue Jecht alone, and Firion gives him a potion to use on his journey. Tidus runs after Jecht, and the Emperor reappears to taunt Firion about his friends leaving him behind. Firion tells the Emperor they left only to accomplish their goals, and he still wishes to accomplish his goal of ending the war. The Emperor tells Firion his dream is futile, and Ultimecia appears to battle Firion. Firion defeats her but Ultimecia reappears immediately after, and both she and the Emperor accuse Firion of being a tool of Cosmos, fighting only because she told him to. Cosmos meets with Firion, who tells her what the Emperor said to him. Cosmos reassures him of his dream to end the war and fill the world with roses, and a newly inspired Firion continues onContinuing their journey, Firion learns more about his companions' reasons for fighting: Tidus fights to settle his grudge with his father, while Cecil struggles with his complex relationship with his brother Golbez. Cloud presents Firion with the rose Sephiroth stole from him, telling him his friends wish to see him achieve his dream. Firion takes the rose and follows the Emperor to Pandaemonium. The two battle, and Firion prevails and claims his Crystal. Though he knows the war is still not over, Firion resolves to keep fighting and see his dream world of wild roses come to be with the help of his friends.

However, Cosmos was defeated by Chaos. Firion and the other champions would have vanished from the plane. However, the crystals which they had gathered contain a portion of Cosmos's power, which allowed them to remain in the World. With Cosmos gone and the world about to be consumed by discord, Firion and the other warriors battle the revived villains and attempt to destroy Chaos before they vanish without Cosmos. Confronting the Emperor again, the Emperor declares it was his plan that was responsible for Cosmos's death, a plan that relied on the heroes acquiring their Crystals. Thanking them for fulfilling their role in his plan, the Emperor battles Firion and is defeated a second time, fading with a cry. After defeating Chaos, the heroes return to their own worlds. Before fading home to Fynn, Firion gazes at a field of roses and states that a new dream is starting.

As Firion travelled the void between worlds, his crystal shard shinned with power and diverted his journey. It seemed that Cosmos still had need of him, he believed. His return home would have to wait. As he appeared, Firion found himself in weakened by the strain of dimensional travel. He had arrived at a Nexus of some sort.

Quickstrike: [gloating and tauntingly] So, what's a warrior without weapons, eh?
Dinobot: A warrior still! [Punches Quickstrike twice, then throws him so he lands on his head, knocking him out]

- Honor does not need to be won, but it must never be lost.

- The question that once haunted my being's been answered. The future is not fixed. My choices are my own. And yet... how ironic. For I now find that I have no choice at all. I am a warrior. Let the battle be joined.

Name: Frog

Theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caRKvQAyU7M

Game: Chrono Trigger

Appearance: Image

Personality: Born a human in the Middle Ages of the Guardia Kingdom, Frog, or Glenn, was taught the values of chivalry, valor, and honor. In addition to these Frog stands with his kingdom despite his curse, not afraid to show his cursed form to those he loves. He respects displays of honor and valor in his companions in addition to keen skills in combat. After putting Cyrus’ ghost to rest he regained the portion of his courage he had once lost, and cleared his mind of old hatreds and his lust for vengeance. The cursed knight fights with all of his strength to save and protect his kingdom for the memory of his fallen friend.

Weapon of Choice: Broadsword

Additional, Notable Equipment: The Masamune – A weapon forged by the guru Melchior out of the same rock as the Mammon Machine. It is the physical manifestation of the spirits Masa and Mune, combining the power of both of these entities to its fullest potential. It has the distinct ability to drain magic from those it strikes, Magus’ one and only weakness. After putting Cyrus’ spirit to rest the spirits of the blade began to put forth all of their power, reawakening the true strength of the legendary blade.

The Hero Badge – A memento of his friend Cyrus. The Hero Badge amplifies the abilities of the Masamune. (10% higher crit chance in game)

Example Abilities:

Slurp

Slurp Slash

Water

Heal

Leap Slash

Water II

Cure II

Frog Squash

Focus: Strength

History: Despite his superior sword skills Glenn was the squire to Cyrus, a legendary knight of the Guardia Kingdom. The two went on many adventures together in the name of their Kingdom. One such adventure was to retrieve the Masamune from its resting place. There the two were confronted by Ozzie and Magus. The King of the Mystics quickly killed Cyrus and placed a curse on Glenn turning him into a Frog.

After awakening from the ordeal Glenn began to call himself Frog and returned to his kingdom, filled with self-loathing at his inability to combat Magus. After that fateful day Frog fought a one man war against Magus’ armies, out of his home in the aptly named Cursed Woods. Soon after he heard rumors of Queen Leene, being kidnapped by Mystics who had taken refuge in a Cathedral west of Guardia Castle; Frog rushed there two save her from being murdered by Yakra, and with the aid of Crono and Lucca he succeeded. After returning Queen Leene to the castle he said his farewells to
Crono and Lucca, and returned to his home.

After some time of fighting Magus’ armies Crono and his friends returned to Frog with the reforged Masamune and the Hero Badge that Frog had discarded long ago. With the help of Crono, Frog’s resolve had returned and agreed to infiltrate Magus’ castle, and kill the king of the Mystics.Once Ozzie, Slash, and Flea had been defeated Crono and Frog breached Magus’ inner sanctum and defeated him, only to have Frog’s vengeance interrupted by a portal that threw them into the prehistoric age.

Frog continued to assist Crono in his quest to save the world, following him to the Dark Ages. There Crono and the party were captured by the corrupted Queen Zeal and thrown into prison inside the palace. Set free by Schala, the princess of Zeal, the party quickly followed Queen Zeal down into the Undersea Palace where they were planning to awaken Lavos. The party failed to stop Lavos’ awakening and Crono sacrificed himself to save the rest of the group, including Magus.

After being rescued and reawakened by the Earthbound Ones of the Dark Ages the group finds Magus on the North Cape. The party is kidnapped and once again jailed by Dalton on the Blackbird. Due to Dalton’s incompetence the group escapes easily and kills the would-be emperor and regains control of the Epoch, a ship capable of time-travel created by the Guru of Time, Balthazar. Afterwards the group finds Magus staring out into sea on the North Cape. Frog decides to spare Magus and allows the sorcerer to travel with the group.

From there the group returns to the End of Time and learns how to resurrect Crono. After a long adventure the party succeeds in reviving Crono, who receives warm welcomes from the entire party. Once Crono is revived the party travels through each of the eras righting the injustices of the world they had lived in before battling Lavos. One such adventure led the group to a forgotten ruin where Cyrus had been buried. After restoring the ruin Frog is visited by Cyrus’ ghost, who then thanks him for protecting the queen and sparing Magus’ life. He tells Frog to not mourn his passing and to continue protecting their kingdom as a final request.

This strengthens Frog’s resolve casuing the spirits of the Masamune to become empowered. The cursed knight and the rest of the party then proceed to attack Lavos head on, and save their planet from total annihilation.

Once the planet had been saved Frog entered the original time portal created in Guardia Square. It was meant to send him back to the Middle Ages, but had sent the knight into an unfamiliar world. He stood up, his legs almost failing him and his strength of body weak inside of the Nexus.
