And, like, I'm totally sorry for having disparu'd again. I underestimated my daughter's capacity to drive me insane when Grandma is on vacation and not available to have the Spawn foisted off on her for a few hours a couple of times a week.

But today is a childless day for another couple of hours, and so I am slowly regaining my sanity (and, ohmygod! I'll actually be able to WASH MY HAIR today! GASP!)

Oh, she's had plenty of smacks this past week. Not that I beat my child, but when she gives me a shit-eating grin while blatantly ignoring my instruction for the third time, she gets a little whack on the bottom and a timeout. Not that the timeouts are doing any good anymore.

It's a stage...I hope. I just have to keep telling myself that, haha. It's a stage.

Although, I am strangely proud of her. She's taken to this super-clever and adorably cute thing when I catch her doing something she knows she's not supposed to be doing.

Me: "WHAT are you doing, little girl?"
Aria: *quickly toddles over and hugs me and kisses me* "I love you, Mama!"
Me: "I love you, too, but--"
Aria: "I love you, too, Mama!"

How can you punish that? Cute...it's the best defense!

Haha! This is what happens when I'm not provided an outlet for my imagination for a week plus. I must also say it's a lot easier to expound when I really love a character the way I do Melani. I've been working recently on making my characters more obviously flawed ('cause reading over some of the Old Days stuff, you sometimes had to be inside either my or the character's head to see the flaws I built them with. I see now why some people could think that I played the dreaded Mary Sue. >_> ), and it helps me to identify with them even better. ^_^



'Cause he's hot? And he's the most approachable at this point. I fully intend for Melly to fall totally in love with at least 90% of the male population of the game, hehehe.

I talked with Asmo about my post but feel free to add other moments of drunken splendour for our dear Ren.

I want to point out that its very likely that Ren mades passes at just about everybody that night, she really doesnt care that much about gender (especially when drunk)

I'm curious to see if Mel is going to do anything with that
