What if Olga saw something, or someone and was moving to stop them when the lights turned out? That would be a-bit more plausible than olga suddenly turning off the lights when she was on stage only a moment ago.


I believe the darkstar council is making it's entrance.

It's too early in the story line to start a fight all of a sudden. I'd like to say that it's just a random power outage and they want us to believe that it's more.

Well, Griddles did hint to us to who shut the lights off. But he might just be messing around with us.

I doubt its the Dark Star Council. For the reason estra gave, and because I think that they don't want to bring unwanted attention to themselves.

Heh. The person this most closely relates to could only do it in spirit.

The funny thing is, I can see her spirit wandering around keeping an eye on Dex, and doing that accidently.

It's possible she is just trying to gather information, in her usual fashion. In the TV show, she was portrayed as somewhat of a bully, at least to Mandark. Pushing people around may be her way of dealing with them.

Likewise, she and Dee Dee had a pretty intense rivalry, but in the end they seemed to decide to cooperate. It's pretty clear that the "last dancer" that she took over from was Dee Dee. She may know Dexter is Dee Dee's brother, and is naturally curious what he's doing there. Given his connection to Mandark, she may be starting to put things together.

Then again, she may not recognize Dexter on sight, but only know about him.

I personally don't think that olga was the one who closed the light.
she was on the stage, in front of the crowd, next to the teachers, and the other dancers.
I really doubt she would get away from there all the way where the light switch.

My theory once again: The lights out will be used to introduce/show (depends) a new kameo or a semi-main character. And then the try-outs will continue.

I would like there to be page of what Buttercup is up to, certainly.
But the reason for the light switching off better be good if they are going to build up the suspense by switching to buttercup and back again. Otherwise, if it's just someone fooling around, when we return to the try-outs, that's going to be horribly anti-climatic.



Or perhaps it could be Olga, wanting to make a better enterance. Switching off the lights, spot light on the stage, trying to make the impression that she's still the one in charge of this try-out?
The introducing a character does sound quite plausible though...if a bit corny.

There is the possibility of Olga seeing the villain go for the lights, and that's why she had the exclamation point....
